- Easy to make slow apps

- Built on web standards
- Great data loading
- Progressive enhancement
- Simpler mental model
The Not-So-Good
- Smaller ecosystem
- Fewer hosting options
- Smaller talent pool
When Next.js Wins
- Enterprise-scale applications
- Complex state management
- Need Vercel ecosystem
- Large team with Next.js experience
When Remix Wins
- Data-heavy applications
- Teams new to React
- Simple to moderate complexity
- Web standards matter
The Honest Take
For most SaaS MVPs: Next.js.
Ecosystem wins. Hosting wins. Talent wins.
Remix is excellent. Next.js is safer.
